My name is Jerrycharlotte and I am a 21 year old girl who lives in Hornchurch, London, Essex. I wake up most mornings with my head still stuck in the clouds, and i’d happily spend the rest of the day that way, dreaming and wondering. But unfortunately, life has to be lived… Even though sometimes living life can be boring and routine, it still has to be lived.
So, I try my best to dedicate as much of my time as possible to not living life and doing things my way. Because my way means I don’t have to worry about being late for work or making my money stretch almost far enough. It means I can be who I want and do what I want without being judged, even if it is only for a few hours. It means I can be free to create whatever seems crazy or wrong, I can see or think about what’s really in my mind without worrying i’m causing offence. That for me, makes real boring routine life actually worth living.
Any form of art inspires me. Body art, People, photography, dreams, literature, music… I have an addiction to 1940′s vintage & pin-up fashion and antique objects. I am also inspired by fairytales and magical stories like Alice in wonderland and the like. Tim Burton, Etta James & Marilyn Monroe are huge inspirations to me too.
Most of my work is focussed on people and portraits. Mainly myself, because I am the only available model most of the time! But I’m always looking to find people willing to model and experiment along the way.
I own a Nikon D7000 camera and two Nikkor lenses… A 35mm F/1.8 and an 18-200mm VR 2 Lens. I use Photoshop cs5, Gimp and a Wacom Intuos 4 Graphics tablet. I have my own stock library that consists of my own textures, poses, objects etc for my ongoing work. I also collect and make my own props, i.e., wigs, stage makeup and costumes.
So on this blog I’d like to share my work with you, revealing stages from the beginning of a photograph to the final result, Photoshop tips, my own free textures, and I’d also love to meet new photographers and artists!

Hello there, Yes this is a wordpress blog but it is hosted on my own server rather than on wordpress’s. And yes you should be able to move your website content from blogger to wordpress
The template is a theme downlaoded from the wordpress selection and it is also combined with basic html for my own content, i.e the photographs etc.
Hope this helps!
